Car rental planning
Learn what to check when planning a rental car with Dollar, from pickup to coverage and return policies.
Pickup and drop-off
Before arranging a Dollar rental, check the pickup location, office hours, return location and any one-way fees. Airport and city branches may have different conditions.
Driver requirements
Minimum age, driver licence, credit card, deposit and additional-driver rules vary by location and provider. Confirm the exact requirements for your reservation.
Vehicle categories and charges
A booked vehicle class does not always guarantee a specific model. Review mileage limits, fuel policy, tolls, insurance options, deposits and local taxes.
Changes and cancellations
Cancellation and modification rules depend on the booked rate and provider. Confirm the responsible rental supplier and booking reference.
